Early Life
Born on January 29, 1982, in Indianapolis, to Eber Lamber, a program manager for Novatel Wireless, and Leila, a dental hygienist, Adam Lambert has a younger brother Neil. Shortly after Adam’s birth, his family relocated to San Diego, California. Lambert started performing with the Metropolitan Educational Theatre network at nine. A few years later, he joined Broadway Bound Theatre Foundation as he moved from Mesa Verde Middle School to Mount Carmel High School.
He became heavily involved with choir and theater during his high school year. Adam also appeared in local professional productions. He later enrolled at California State University, Fullerton, after his graduation. He majored was musical theater. But left the university just after five weeks to move to Los Angeles.

Lambert rose to fame in 2009 after appearing on the eighth season of American Idol and finishing as runner-up. Later that year, he launched his debut album, For Your Entertainment which ranked at number three on the Billboard 200. The album spawned various singles, including Whataya Want From Me, which received a Grammy nomination. In 2012, dropped his second album, Trespassing, which secured the first position on Billboard 200.
Lambert then released his third album, The Original High, in 2015, which ranked number three on the Billboard 200. Alongside this, Lamber has collaborated with Queen, a rock band, as a lead vocalist since 2011. Their collaboration includes several worldwide tours from 2014 to 2022. Back in October 2020, Lambert + Queen launched t heir first album, Live Around The World, which secured first place on the UK Albums Chart.
Adam Lambert’s Philanthropy
Since he appeared on American Idol, he has lent considerable time and support to charitable causes. He donated $1,000,000 in October 2011. He also asked his fans to support his campaign from time to time. Lambert also contributed to the MusiCares charity by collaborating with the Pennyroyal Studio to design an Eye of Horus pendant. Lambert also returned to the American Idol stage, benefitting The Trevor Project. Later, Elton John and Queen + Adam Lambert joined with the Olena Pinchuk ANTI AIDS Foundation to help the fight against HIV/AIDS.
