Reasons Behind The Delay!

According to some reports, the main reason behind the delay of the fourth season is the busy schedule of the main cast. Our Queen Victoria (Jenna Coleman) is currently working with numerous projects. Her schedule is very tight, and she is unable to give dates for the fourth season. And you just can’t expect Victoria without Victoria herself. Before the Coronavirus outbreak, Jenna Coleman was busy with the production of The Serpent, a Netflix and BBC crime drama series. During the pandemic, she also participated in “The Remote Read,” a prepared series of online drama plays to raise funds for theater workers left unemployed by the outbreak.

Victoria Season 4: Plot Details!

In the previous season, the fans saw the Chartist movement reach a whole new level in London. So, Victoria had to leave for Cornwall to ensure her safety. When they return, Victoria’s estranged sister Feodora Victoria and her husband Prince Albert start sailing, and their upcoming marriage was tested. The third season ended with Prince Albert’s dramatic collapse to the floor of Buckingham Palace. The ending left the multiple possibilities for the opening of Victoria Season 4. By the look of the third season, it seems like the fourth season will be set in 1851. It will follow Queen Victoria’s journey through the murky waters of her reign.

The creators also claimed that the upcoming installment would be the darkest one of the entire series. Daisy also revealed that a significant character would die in the next installment. In an interview, she said, “Somebody might die in it – spoiler! That is going to be a grand challenge and is going to be an amazing, perfect story.” She also informed the fans about the entry of a new character. She added, “Somebody dies, and someone new comes on the picture, so there is a lot to play with. I’ve got back into it and am really liking writing it.”
