Developed by David E. Kelley, Big Sky is a crime thriller drama series that debuted on ABC in November 2020. The show is an adaptation of C. J. Box’s book series called The Highway. When two girls are abducted on a rural highway by a truck driver, investigators Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt are assigned to the investigation. To crack the case, the two work together with Jenny Hoyt.
What Will Happen In Big Sky Season 3?
The second season of the crime drama introduced us to some new characters and moved the storyline forward. At the end of season 2, Jenny was trying to locate Travis before he disappeared completely. On the other hand, while figuring out how to deal with their father, the bond between siblings Ren and Jag got even stronger. Meanwhile, towards the end, Cassie’s pursuit of justice changed entirely.

The second season of the crime drama series Big Sky aired on ABC from September 30, 2021, to May 19, 2022. However, ABC gave the green light for the third installment of the series even before the season 2 finale dropped. On May 13, 2022, the official Twitter handle of the series shared a Tweet that reads, “We’re staying under the #BigSky, so stay tuned for Season 3 when we return to ABC”. Several reports claim the makers completed the production for the third season in early 2022. Now the release date of the season has been announced. Big Sky Season 3 will debut on ABC on September 21, 2022.
