The Girl In The Mirror Ending Explained!

The supernatural horror fiction series, The Girl In The Mirror, has been making heads turn ever since its first season dropped on Netflix. However, the storyline of the show is anything but simple. Therefore, fans have many confusions about the ending of the first season. So here we are discussing how the story of The Girl in The Mirror’s first season ended.

The Girl In The Mirror Ending: Did Alma Return From Dead?

At the end of the first season of the series, Tom finds out that Alma, who survived the bus crash, isn’t the real Alma. In fact, she is her jealous best friend, Deva. And the only way to force the Jess Glynne replica out and get back the love of his life is to push ‘Alma’ to death. Even though Tom intended to do a seaside getaway, he started getting cold feet.

And spare ‘Alma’ to see another day.  When he ambushed ‘Alma’ in her family’s treehouse and started to suffocate her shortly after, Deva’s abusive stepfather practically completed the task for him. Meanwhile, Lara, Alma, and Deva’s sister, who lost her life during the horrible bus accident, passed on to the afterlife. However, before that, she assured her mother that she’ll always be there with her. On the other hand, Alma momentarily had a reunion with Tom when she got the chance to possess her for a short time. They both agreed to move ahead in life, going on their separate ways until fate reunites them in the time to come. Later on, Alma also paid a visit to Aurora, the divine fairy godmother. In the meeting, Aurora told her that she had been waiting for this exact moment for several centuries.

On the other hand, Roque, who is now possessed, managed to confound the henchman whom Martin’s father sent.  Along with his sister, the enigmatic Nico, and a previous coma patient, all of whom have now transformed into physical shadows of who they once were. The group travels to the mountain retreat to assist in calling forth Therion.

Cast!

The cast of the thriller drama series features Mireia Oriol in the role of Alma, Álex Villazán appearing as Tom. And Pol Monen playing Bruno. Moreover, the show also stars Claudia Roset as Deva, Javier Morgade portraying Martín. And Milena Smit in the role of Nico. 

In addition, there is also Marta Belaustegui as Pilar and  Maria Caballero is in the cast, among several others. If the showrunners decide to bring back the series for another season, then we are likely to see the return of the majority of the cast to reprise their roles. At the same time, there may also be some new additions to the cast of The Girl In The Mirror Season 2.
