Young Sheldon Season 6 Episode 17: What Will Happen Next?
The upcoming episode, “A German Folk Song And An Actual Adult,” will focus on Georgie. It’s his 18th birthday, but he has no plans for his special day. He’s more into taking care of his daughter. While Mandy and Georgie aren’t on the same page, Mandy still looks forward to his big day. She and Mary plan for a dinner night to celebrate his birthday. However, he cancels their plan as Amber asks him out. So he plans to go out with her instead of spending time with his family and Mandy. While Mary tells him to cancel his plan with Amber, Mandy convinces Mary to let him go.
Meanwhile, things aren’t working in Mary’s life. She fights with Brenda after she confesses her relationship with George. Instead of arguing, Brenda behaves sweetly with her, which pisses Mary off. Well, Mary is interested to see how Brenda will react, but nothing goes per her plan. So she quits her job and returns home. At home, George tells her he’s her side and says, “I Love You.” But Mary seems upset and leaves the conversation. As for Missy, she’s grounded for a week and isn’t allowed to watch her favorite show, listen to music, or read magazines. While she suffers, Sheldon helps her in killing time.
A Quick Recap!
In the previous episode, Missy called Paige as they both decided to run away to Daytona Beach. They had fun bonding over and getting into trouble. Both voiced their concern about how Missy felt overlooked and how Paige was irritated by being a child genius. Nobody noticed Missy and Paige were absent until George couldn’t find his truck. It led to a search operation. Soon Sheldon revealed that Missy was still in touch with Paige, so they contacted her mother, Linda. Meanwhile, a cop pulled Missy over in Louisiana, and she quickly admitted everything.
However, it turned out as an adventurous mission when Missy and Paige helped the cops to catch speeders using a radar gun. Elsewhere, George, Mary, and Linda drove to find the girls. While driving, the trio discussed Linda’s divorce and Coopers’ marriage. However, George didn’t like the idea of visiting Linda’s marriage counselor, and the three of them later bickered over the issues they were dealing at parenting. As for Sheldon, he stayed home and was shocked by Missy’s behavior. While driving home, dispirited Missy stated that she didn’t like when her parents talked to each other. Later Adult Sheldon narrated that it was just the beginning of her difficult times.

Finally, after a long break, Young Sheldon returns to the screen. After watch ing Missy’s madness, fans looked forward to seeing how things would move in her life. Now finally, they will learn in Young Sheldon Season 6 Episode 17, which will air on April 13, 2023, at 8/7c. It will be available on the CBS original, and you can also stream it on Paramount+.
