Recently, it finally felt like Lauren was finally having good days after everything she’s been through in Coronation Street. Trouble Started the Night of the Party
If you have been following Coronation Street spoilers, you’ll know that Aadi recently threw a party to ditch his “nice guy” image. He wanted to let loose, but things quickly got out of hand. His mate Brody left behind a cup that had been spiked with LSD. Nobody noticed at first, until Lauren ended up drinking from it. Soon after, Lauren began hallucinating and had flashbacks of her abuse at the hands of Joel. She had no idea the drink was laced.
That night, Aadi stayed close. He looked after her, made sure she got home safe, and even let her stay over. But he didn’t tell her the truth. He knew about the LSD but kept quiet, hoping the moment would pass. Now, that silence is catching up with him.
Coronation Street: Aadi Comes Clean
In upcoming scenes, Aadi’s guilt becomes too much to carry. He’s seen drinking alone in Victoria Gardens, ignoring Lauren’s calls. When she finally finds him, he can’t keep it in anymore. He tells her everything, the spiked cup, what she drank, and what he knew. Lauren is floored. She’d let her guard down, and started to believe in someone again. And now, she finds out he was hiding this from her.
Later, Aadi also confesses to his dad, Dev, and to Bernie Winter. Both are horrified. They understand why Lauren is devastated, especially after the LSD triggered such painful memories. A Corrie source explained that Lauren always felt Aadi’s love and support were almost too good to be true. Now she’s left feeling like she was right to be cautious.
Lauren is struggling to process everything. The drugs, the flashbacks, and now the betrayal, it’s a lot. Even though Aadi didn’t mean to hurt her, the damage is done. Whether she forgives him or not, things will never be the same again. That trust, once broken, is hard to rebuild, especially for someone who’s already been through so much.
