EastEnders isn’t easing up. Something’s off with Joel. He wasn’t always like this. Now people avoid his eyes. There’s something colder behind them. And what’s coming next is awful. Keep scrolling to know more.
Joel Turns On Kat As Tommy Watches
Joel tells Tommy to take cash from The Vic. He laughs like it’s a joke, then Kat walks in and catches them. She doesn’t yell; she only sees it. And she sees Joel, too. Not just what he did but who he is now.

He doesn’t protect Tommy, and he attacks Kat loudly. His words aren’t careless; they’re cruel. Ross sees the tension and steps in fast. He brings both boys to work with him. Perhaps something good can come out of it; that’s what Ross hopes. But Joel doesn’t just learn from the men around him; he copies their worst parts.
Ross hears them talking and feels it in his gut that something’s wrong. Joel later apologises to Kat, and it sounds real. Ross lets him hang out with Tommy again, and Vicki allows it too. They both want to believe in him, but peace doesn’t last here, not in this house.
Joel’s Breakdown Stuns The Vic
Ross finds Joel’s laptop. It’s filled with videos that don’t just insult women; they teach hate. He doesn’t think and smashes it. He tells Vicki everything, and she says it’s not enough. Later, Joel walks into The Vic and hears Stacey and Vicki talking. Joel snaps, walks straight over to them, and starts throwing words like knives.

His voice gets louder, and people turn. Stacey stares, and she doesn’t even blink. Vicki lowers her head, like she can’t take another word. He keeps going, and not one person stops him. It’s not an awful mood, and it’s not confusion; this is who he is now.
Ross goes to Harvey, hands trembling. He gets it now, and it properly rattles him. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, follow Soap Opera Daily.
