Duggar News followers must be aware that Bobye Holt was a close friend of the Duggar family. Yet she testified against Josh during his trials in 2021. She revealed that her older daughter was supposed to marry Josh. But she and her husband called off the marriage after learning about his molestation case during his teenage years.
Bobye told the court, “He told us so our oldest daughter would know why the relationship had to end.” She further admitted that she still loved Josh, and she was “miserable” because she had to speak against him. However, it seems that the latter wasn’t convinced, as he is speaking against Bobye now!

Apparently, he wants to prove in court that he is struggling with a violation of his “constitutional rights” because there wasn’t a fair trial for him. He claimed that there was a “uncorroborated and prejudicial testimony” from Bobye Holt.
Josh claimed in the papers that Bobye was being “far from neutral” and she had made several anti-Duggar statements as well. He is trying to prove that the latter has a “deep-rooted” desire to destroy the entire Duggar family. Josh wants the court to believe that Bobye was “bitter” because she couldn’t marry her daughter to him.
Josh told the court that Bobye and her husband were also part of the famous Amazon docuseries that was willing to expose his family. His papers say, “This pattern of hostility and bias was not disclosed to the jury.” The celeb further claimed that Bobye was basically “willingly” and “fully” cooperated with the prosecution against him.
