The streaming platform Netflix announced the release date for The Umbrella Academy Season 2, on Monday morning. The entire cast appeared at a quarantine video conference and pitched in the show’s return. The news had pumped up the fans to know more details about the superhero drama.
The show is based on “Umbrella Academy,” Dark Horse comic books, created and written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, who are its co-executive producers too. UCP produces the show. The first season of the show premiered in February 2019. It topped the charts and listed in the top 10 popular shows of Netflix in 2019.

Plot Details Revealed
The first season of the live-action series ended on a cliffhanger. It followed seven of 43 infants born on the same day to different unconnected women. A billionaire, Hargreeves adopted the seven. He was the one who founded The Umbrella Academy, a training ground for superheroes. Later, the superhero siblings reunite to solve the mystery surrounding their late father’s death. Throughout the first season, they try to avert the apocalypse which they did cause, in the end. And they decide to time-travel and go back in time to rewrite history. But how far do they go and succeed?
The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will probably see another 36 people of the 43 born on the same day. Since this season two would be inspired by the second volume Dallas of the comics, it will draw upon its content. Also, the audience might get to learn more about Klaus’ time there!
