As per The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix’s content boss Ted Sarandos is exceptionally pleased with The Crown. Further analysis confirmed that Morgan’s initial pitch for the show is outlined for six seasons. Previously, show’s fifth season seemed to be the last one. But now, the idea is to cover six decades into six seasons. Indeed Peter Morgan has changed his mind in bringing down the curtain of the show. He further cleared ‘….we should go back to the original plan and do six seasons. To be clear, the series will not be brought any closer to the present day. It will enable us to cover the same period with greater detail.’
