Speaking about The Grand Hotel Season 2, the executive producer of the show- Brian Tanen, says that they left a number of possible suspects by the end. It felt like most of the cast was angry with him because of the cancellation.
Everyone was hopeful that they would get a renewal for the second season. The new season would answer all the questions they have been playing in the first season. Tanen went on to say that he has played with a number of ideas about who could have been murdered. But he keeps changing his mind. He would love the idea of convicting someone who didn’t commit the murder. The second season would be all about trying to clear that name.
Tanen explains that he is a little bit coy about what would happen to the second season. While he knows that the plug is pulled, deep in his heart, he is still hopeful that some life is still left for the show. If ABC does not bring it back, maybe some other platform would? He revealed that they had meetings, and if there is some other platform that is interested in the soapy gem, then he would love to make another season.

Talking about who would come back for The Grand Hotel Season 2, Tanen is proud of bringing the kind of diversity they have been able to bring. So, fans can expect to see Eva Longoria back on screen. She is a champion for Latinx representation on screen and has been quite vocal about standing up with female directors. The executive producer went on to say that he is from Miami, and when they were doing the project, they decided that they would have the whole Latinx family and the cast be largely Latinx.
He says that all of it felt very intuitive. They are very pleased to have all of them on board. Along with Demian Bichir, the show also stars Roselyn Sanchez, Bryan Craig, Denyse Tontz, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Younes, Shalim Ortiz, and Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, and Justina Adorno. They might all come back for The Grand Hotel Season 2.
