Inspired by Michael Connelly’s novels, The Bosch follows detective Harry Bosch dealing with the criminal cases in Los Angeles. However, he’s not alone as several other law enforcement officers help him investigate the cases, including corruption and crime. Throughout the series, the show has gained positive reviews and is now set to return for its final run.

The Bosch Season 7: Who Will Be In The Cast?

Back in October, the news broke that Mayans M.C. star Gino Vento and Vida star Carlos Miranda will join for recurring roles in the seventh and final run. The Bosch Season 7: What Will Happen Next?

Throughout the series, they loosely adapted the stories from Michael Connelly novels, including The Black Echo, Angels Flight, and Trunk Music. Now that the series entered its seventh season, it will take inspiration from Connelly’s The Concrete Blonde and The Burning Room. So in the upcoming season, both Bosch and Jerry would deal with two different murder investigations. One will follow the street-level drug business, while the other will deal with the high-level white-collar crime.

Michael Connelly Discussed Ending

Speaking on the final run, Connelly said they have already jotted down the conclusion of Bosch’s story. They had mapped this season, deeming the past six and seven years into account. So they can’t retool it following the 2020’s police brutality. They wanted to write a better ending for Bosch, which they have now. Thus there’s no chance of revisiting and scraping the seventh season.

However, Connelly ensured that the final run would take place ahead of the George Floyd murder case. So the upcoming season would continue as they outlined. But it would indeed echo George Floyd’s case as the finale would be relevant to what had happened in the last year. Connelly added: “It is the best way” to conclude the story.
