The eighth episode of Star Trek Discovery Season 4 is titled “All In.” Captain Burham has a hunch as she looks for Book to an old haunt from their courier days. However, it seems like Book teamed up with Ruon Tarka to get rid of the anomaly for destroying his home planet. Thus, Captain Burnham might have to go against Book and Tarka in a high-stakes competition to retrieve the powerful weapon. Book and Tarka are planning to destroy the anomaly using a powerful weapon, while Burnham and the Federation are in favor of a peaceful approach.

The team discussed the possibility of extracting Zora’s consciousness. However, Zora suggested the use of a fail-safe device capable of removing Zora from the ship’s systems completely. Eventually, the evolved version of Zora gave them the coordinates of the anomaly’s origin. In addition, the leaders voted on a peaceful approach instead of using Tarka’s device in Star Trek Discovery Season 4 Episode 7.
