Further, in The Neighborhood Season 4 Episode 14, Becky and Jackie were stopped outside their door when they tried to get to the mall in order to find Beverly Rose and Emilio. The family discovered that the shooter was a young man named James McNaulty, who lived a block away. Everyone was shocked as James happened to be their newspaper delivery boy. Dan was paranoid and loaded a gun as he felt James might come through their door any time. But Becky was upset with the fact that Dan had a gun in the house with Beverly living there.

Meanwhile, the Corner family witnessed James being shot down by the cops on TV. The following day, Beck was reluctant about sending her daughter Beverly Rose. However, Emilio convinced her to let their daughter attend a friend’s birthday party. Darlene was surprised to know that the school had one counselor for over 1500 students. Becky tried to reach out to the psychologists at the local Rec, but the line went a block away. She missed four hours of work and didn’t even get to meet the counselor.

Next, Dan and Louise wanted a gun in the house but Becky was against it. Harris sold the gun at the police station behind Dan’s back. He was angry that she took his property but he understood her motive behind selling the gun. Jackie broke down in front of the family for being on the phone all the time.
