The show is based on the novel titled “In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption” and revolves around the life of policeman James Keene. Ever since the first season ended, fans are eager to know about Black Bird Season 2.

The first season of the crime drama series premiered on Apple Tv+ on July 08, 2022. The show has just aired, and the fan following of the show is in its building phase. Meanwhile, talking about the future of the series, there has not been any confirmation from Apple Tv+ about the show’s future yet. Although the show has been billed as limited series. If the show is recommissioned for Black Bird Season 2, we can expect most of the main cast members to be back in their roles. At the same time, there might also be some new faces in the cast of the second season.

Is It Based On A Real Story?

The plot of Black Bird was influenced by actual occurrences and James Keene’s real-life experiences. He wrote In with the Devil: A Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption, which served as its basis. Earlier versions of Keene’s report appeared on CNN and Dateline. He was a budding football player once, just like the character, and his father was a cop. The deal he was handed in jail actually came to pass. Fans must watch to understand the character’s tale, the reality of what occurred in the real Keene’s life, and whether the two plotlines coincide without giving away the conclusion.

The actor who portrays suspected serial murderer Larry Hall, Paul Walter Hauser, might not be well-known to fans. Considering how unique his persona is compared to one in another well-known show: Cobra Kai. In the popular Netflix martial arts comedy-drama, Hauser also portrays Raymond, a.k.a. Stingray. One of the most memorable characters to appear in Cobra Kai after season one is Stingray.

Even though he is considerably older than the Cobra Kai youngsters, Stingray, a retail shop clerk, finds a group where he believes he can fit in. He shares comparable quirky and introverted traits with Hall from Black Bird. Fans might not recognize the same actor since Stingray aspires to be much more friendly.
