Created by Pedro Damián, Netflix’s Rebelde is an adaptation of the Argentine TV Show named Rebelde Way. The Mexican teen drama series follows a group of students in Elite Way School after a mysterious group, The Lodge, starts threatening students.
What Might Happen In Rebelde Season 2?
The first season of the show revolved around the misadventures of MJ and her friends in the boarding school. They formed The Nonames and were determined to participate in The Battle of the Bands. However, soon disarray spread soon as an evasive group called The Lodge started threatening the students.
The Nonames got permission to compete in the championship at the end of the inaugural season. Due to school board politics, they expelled Luke rather than Sebastian, the true head of The Lodge. Then, in an unexpected turn of events, after Emilia dumps Sebastián, MJ decides to perform with him rather than with her band. Finally, The Nonames disclose the bargain they were given by the school board and the reality of The Lodge on stage before their performance.
When Rebelde Season 2 returns of Netflix, it will focus on the aftermath of the Battle of the Bands. The season will reveal whether or not the relations between MJ and Nonames improve after she betrayed them. Meanwhile, the season will also reveal the fate of Luke after he was wrongfully expelled from the school. The future of Andi and Emilia’s romantic relationship might also be explored in the third season. In the projected Season 2 of the Netflix series, The EWS will witness more student drama, musical rivalry, school board politics, and interpersonal difficulties.
Who Will Star In The Next Season?
The cast roster of Netflix’s Rebelde includes Azul Guaita Bracamontes in the role of Jana Cohen. Andrea Chaparro plays MJ, and Franco Masini appearing as Luka Colucci. Meanwhile, in the show Alejandro Puente stars as Sebastián, Giovanna Grigio plays Emilia. Alo, Estefanía Villarreal enacts Celina Ferrer, and Leonardo de Lozanne plays Marcelo Colucci.
Moreover, there is also Sergio Mayer Mori as Estebán Torres, Jeronimo Cantillo as Guillermo Álvarez, and Lizeth Selene portraying Andrea Agosti. When the show returns with Rebelde Season 2, most of the main cast members will return in their roles.
Rebelde Season 2 Release Date!
The inaugural season of Rebelde premiered on Netflix on January 5, 2022. Meanwhile, sometime after the release of the season, Netflix began working on the show’s second season and greenlit the season. On June 29, Netflix dropped the trailer for the upcoming Rebelde Season 2. At the end of the trailer, the release date of the second season is also revealed. Rebelde Season 2 will drop on Netflix on July 27, 2022.
