The Killer’s Shopping List is a South Korean thriller-comedy drama series. The show is based on Kang Ji Young’s acclaimed novel of the same name. In the first season, we meet Dae-Sung. In spite of having excellent memory power, Dae is a naive and timid person who is preparing for his civil service exam. He also works at a local mart in the suburbs of Seoul.
Dae-Sung was dating a police officer named Ah Hee. However, both their lives changed when the gruesome murder happened in a building close to Dae-Sung’s workplace. His girlfriend Ah Hee is working on the murder case. Sung becomes a strong lead in the murder case after the police find the only clue to the killing was a store receipt issued by him.
Will There Be The Killer’s Shopping Season 2?
The first season of The Killer’s Shopping List premiered on tvN on April 27, 2022. The season concluded with the finale dropping on May 19, 2022. Now, in regards to The Killer’s Shopping List Season 2, there has not been any announcement yet by the Korean tv network. Meanwhile, we know that the Kdrama series do not generally return with a sophomore season.
However, The Killer’s Shopping List’s first season has turned out to be immensely successful among both fans and critics. Therefore, we should not entirely rule out the possibility of its return. But these are just speculation, and only an official announcement can give us a clear picture. If everything goes right, fans may get The Killer’s Shopping List Season 2 by the end of the next year.
The Killer’s Shopping List Season 2 Cast!
The cast of the Korean murder drama series features Lee Kwang-soo in the role of Ahn Dae-sung, Kim Seol-hyun as Do Ah-hee. And Jin Hee-kyung plays Jeong Myeong-sook, Shin Sung-woo appears as Ahn Young-choon, and Lee Gyo-yeop as Jeong-yuk. Meanwhile, the show also features Lee Yoon-portraying Kim Doo-hyun, Bae Myung-jin as Detective Ji Woong, and Oh Hye-won joining Ya-chae.
Furthermore, Kim Mi-hwa stars as Gong-sa, and Moon Hee-kyung plays Young-sun. Also, we have Kwon So-hyun as Lee Kyung-ah, and Jang Won-young as Oh Cheon-won. If the show is renewed for The Killer’s Shopping List Season 2, we are likely to see the return of the main cast members in their roles. At the same time, the second season may also introduce some new characters.
