In the closing moment, San got injured as one of Tae-hwa’s arrows hit him. However, Dan-oh spotted him bleeding and took him with her. She now knows that San isn’t Lee Seol. But she’s still trying to find out who is the real Lee Seol. She will embark on her journey and soon be summoned by Shi-yeol, who’ll ask her how much she knows about Lee Seol and how far her investigation has reached. He will also threatens her to stay away from the person, perhaps hinting that he’s the real Lee Seol. Further, he also informs someone about the matter and asks the person to take a look at Dan-oh’s investigation. Meanwhile, Dan-oh starts taking care of San. But when he warns her to run, she questions whether he’s the Watchman.

In the previous episode, Tae-hwa gave Dan-oh only a month to find Lee Seol. Otherwise, he would forfeit Ihwawon. So she started seeking Lee Seol’s family’s former servants’ help to gather clues regarding his whereabouts. The first servant lived far away. So she embarked on an alone journey, but the boys tagged along anyway. Shi-yeol and Yoo-ha joined her while San followed them secretly. But Dan-oh took little time to spot San lurking around. She started teasing him that he was worried for her, but he denied it. Anyway, the former servant revealed that the noble family adopted Lee Seol to hide his identity. He also had a red mole on his ankle.
But he later pointed out that Dan-oh knew him as the description fit perfectly on one of three Flower Scholars. So she quickly contacted her servants to learn whether they had seen a red mole on the Flower Scholars’ ankle. But they hadn’t. So when she saw San napping in the sun, she quickly untied his ankle wrap. However, he caught her, and both ended up flustered. Later that night, Dan-oh received a letter asking her to meet in the bamboo forest. But she ended up meeting with a sword to her throat. It turned out to be San who warned her that she was messing up with the wrong person and could get killed in the process. Later the head Eunuch warned San to control his feelings for D an-oh as it could affect his mission, revealing San was one of the Watchmen.
