The previous episode began with the calm before the storm, as the islanders learned about the first recoupling ceremony after the Casa Amor. Everyone was stressed out in Casa and the main villa as they wondered if the recoupling might “make or break” things up between them. Soon the most-awaited evening arrived with Maya’s return to announce the most breathtaking announcement. As the new girls stood in front of the fire pit, each boy had to decide whether they wanted to “stick or twist,” starting with Sammy. Since he was the only single boy in the villa, he went first and decided to go with Amber Wise, despite having feelings for Jess.
Well, Whitney was also the only single girl in Casa, so she joined the main villa with Lochan. Next was Zachariah, who decided to recouple with Molly. But the remaining islanders remained shocked after learning Kady had remained single in Casa. Later Montel stepped forward, decided to go with his heart, and stayed with Leah, leaving Tink in shock. Leah was glad to see him single for her, but their happiness was short-lived when Tink revealed what he said behind Leah’s back, calling Montel “so fake.” Next was Scott, who decided to stay single, but unsurprisingly, Catherine walked back into the villa with Elom.
But the awkwardness changed when Mitchel recoupled with Abi when Jess returned single and thrilled to see newly-coupled Sammy. However, things turned worst for Tyrique, who decided to wait for Ella, who walked into the villa with Ouzy.
