Meanwhile, all the gangsters captured in the freshman episode were interviewed. Soon The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 2 featured Mo-tak and Jeok-bong. The latter was living his best life but got hit by a truck while trying to save someone else. But his selfless act touched Mo-tak, and he decided to recruit Jeok-bong. The latter then woke up in the Spirit Realm, where he received a lucrative offer.
Back to Earth, the Baekdu Dynasty Scam Case reached the court, where the judges gave their verdict, giving CEO Park 3 years on probation. Soon the Evil Spirit group from China entered the courthouse and cornered Mr. Park in the elevator. He pleaded with the leader to grant him more time to clear the mess. But the leader, Pil-Gwang, ignored his plea and used his powers to smash Mr. Park. They later pulled Min-ji inside. The gang slit Park’s throat, but he was alive while Min-ji was unconscious after losing a lot of blood. Joo-seok was shocked to learn they had lost their baby. Mun and Ha-na tried to comfort him, only to discover that Min-ji was no more. Meanwhile, the Evil Spirit group deduced a plan to stop Mun.
