Coming to the chances of the second installment, the possibility for a sequel is quite prominent. The first season ended on a major cliffhanger that showed the arrival of the Hero, Lord Epona Liannenon. In addition to this, the series is known to have adapted only a small portion of the entire novel series. Therefore, there is ample source material. On top of that, a convincing viewership level and good ratings also favor the possibility of The World’s Finest Assassin Season 2. So, there are a couple of reasons that strengthen the return of The World’s Finest Assassin.

What Could We Expect In The The World’s Finest Assassin Season 2?

In the finale, Lugh and Dia’s father played a significant role. Both of them created a chance for Dia to enter the Tuatha Dé region by enacting a fake death scene of hers. However, before anything could happen or the favored results could appear, the presence of Setanta MacNess hampers their plan. The latter was linked with Gae Bolg, and Lugh realized that he could not withstand him in battle until he used any power or trick. So, to curb Setanta’s movement, he opted for the magnetic tungsten projectile that affected the former accordingly. Lastly, Lugh was informed that Hero Lord Epona Rhiannon was in the kingdom.

As far as the narrative of the second season is concerned, it will majorly focus on the relationship between Lugh and Epona. According to the reports, Lugh is expected to get admitted to an academy located in Alvan. Besides this, the plot is likely to continue as it did in the novel series. Since ample source material is already available, the creators have several references.

Who Will Be In The Next Season?

In the previous installment, the lead voice was provided by Kenji Akabane to Lugh Tuatha De. Dia Viekone and Tarte had the voice of Reina Ueda and Yuki Takada. The other names on the list are Chiaki Takahashi, Toshiyuki Morikawa, and Shino Shimoji. They voiced the character of Esri Tuatha Dé, Cian Tuatha Dé, and Maha, respectively. Apart from them, Yukari Tamura gave her voice to Goddess while Junpei Morita provided his vocal cords to Assasin. Well, the entire voice cast is expected to return to fill their respective shoes in The World’s Finest Assassin Season 2. Once a renewal statement drops in, things will see more clarification.
