After continued failure, Priestess will use a spell to purify the river, leading to an inner conflict. However, the goblin shaman’s curse continues to threaten the group. A Quick Recap!

The previous episode saw Priestess saving One Who Stops Water by insisting on sending it away from the village instead of killing it. Just then, Goblin Slayer noticed a mischievous goblin trying to steer the creature. However, High Elf Archer killed that goblin, allowing Goblin Slayer, Lizard Priest, and Dwarf Shaman to capture the beast. On the other hand, Forest Princess asked the former to visit often. After catching One Who Stops Water, Elder Brother threw an impromptu party where Goblin Slayer discovered that goblins were living nearby.

But as the party progressed and the latter became intoxicated, he blamed himself for his sister’s death. Meanwhile, Sword Maiden deciphered the medicine which they could later use. After celebrating their small victory, Goblin Slayer headed to kill the goblins before the wedding. Cow Girl later bid him farewell, hoping he would return someday. While sailing upriver, the group learned that goblins had found their next target. The elves were tortured to death, and their rotten fleshers were thrown into the river. It later made Goblin Slayer realize that goblins had a shaman.

This was because the other elves were drinking the same poisoned water, which could spread the blood curse among the elves. The Priestess was startled by finding the elven bodies and the evidence of atrocious tortures. After spotting such a heinous site, Goblin Slayer apologized to High Elf Archer about such a scene and promised to kill the goblins.
