Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 22: What Will Happen In The Battlefield?
After the arrival of Pseudo-Geto in the battleground, things will change entirely. The last viewers saw him fighting against Mei Mei and her brother. Now, it remains unclear how the fight had concluded. But since he appeared in the previous episode, he would likely join Mahito in the battle. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 22, “Metamorphosis, Part 2,” suggests that Mahito will seek the villain’s help to deal with Todo and Yuiji. Since the Shibuya Incident Arc is edging closer to its end, it will ultimately focus on the massive battle between Geto and Yuji.
Further, the preview clip hints at Geto’s dangerous plan. He may have some nefarious motives behind his appearance. He perhaps kills Mahito before taking over the battle. After Pseudo-Geto absorbs the cursed spirit, he reveals his plan to use Maximum Techniques. With this, the former easily overpowers the battleground, giving Yuji the most brutal fight. The 21st episode began with Mahito fighting against Todo and Yuji. However, the cursed spirit used Polymorphic Soul Isomer against the sorcerers and separated them. Despite his efforts, Todo defeated the cursed spirit, forcing the latter to use the Domain Expansion. But it could make things challenging for Mahito as he feared being consumed by Sukuna. So, the former only used his curse technique for 0.2 seconds. It, unfortunately, affected Todo’s arm, forcing him to cut the rest of it to survive.
After that, Mahito activated Idle Transfiguration to become the superior version of himself. Yuji quickly noticed that the cursed spirit was more powerful than Choso now. While the former had complications dealing with his opponent, Todo again entered the battleground to help Yuji use a Black Flash on Mahito. This move helped them win against the cursed spirit. But just when they thought they had killed Mahito, Pseudo-Geto appeared to support the cursed spirit in the battle.
