Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 16: What To Expect From The Next Chapter?
After spending time with Ordean, Frieren and her party head to their next destination; the team is currently busy finding Sein’s friends. But during this process, they will come across an old pal. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 16, “Long-Lived Friends,” hints that the party will visit a dwarf warrior, old Fol. She met him while adventuring with Himmel and his crew. So, it takes her back to memory lane, where she recalls that Fol was fighting against the demons to protect a village.
However, she doesn’t recall the conversation. But she does remember Himmel’s words from the past. Meanwhile, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 16 will bring another pal back to the picture. While they visit the village, the crew finds Sein’s best friend’s footprints. He was the same person who had offered him to go on an adventure with him and become an adventurer. It will ultimately lead to a reunion between the two friends. But will it ever happen?

The previous episode began with Frieren and her crew arriving at a village only to learn that a monster cursed the place. Fern, Frieren, and Stark slowly succumbed to the curse, but the situation was different with Sein, as being a priest, he was unaffected by the curse. The latter somehow managed to keep Frieren awake so she could kill the monster. While he worried that a miscommunication could create problems between them, things turned in their favor. Frieren and her crew then reached the city of Vorig. Later, a noble named Ordean met Stark and asked for his favor.
He wanted the latter to speak with his son, who was recovering from the latest battle. Initially, Frieren refused to do so, but when Ordean offered them gold as well as a grimoire, she decided to help him. But to pose for the son, Stark and Fern first had to learn the etiquette. They eventually succeeded in playing their roles. After that, Ordean requested Stark to stay there and replace Wirt. But he refused the offer, stating this could never happen as Ordean couldn’t replace his father. Frieren then picked the grimoire while Stark, Fern, and Sein watched Ordean’s next mission: training his other son, Mut.
