Days Of Our Lives has a vast and long-running fanbase. Thus, it is very understandable that ardent fans often reach out to the cast and crew to get some juicy gossip on what’s coming up next. While a lot of times it is not feasible to actually spill the beans, sometimes some stars make an exception. A similar instance happened when a fan requested some insider info from actor Bryan Dattilo (Lucan Horton).
What’s endearing is that the star actually made a cameo video to appease the loyal Days of Our Lives fanbase. The fine actor dropped some hints about his upcoming storyline at the beginning of 2024. As it turns out, Lucas will get released from the prison. However, once the storyline has run its course, he will fall off the canvas once again. Reflecting on the stint, Bryan mused that he loves working on DOOL and relishes the little stints he does on and off.

Speaking about the upcoming storyline, Lucas’ portrayer shared that the jailbird will be sharing the screen with Ava Vitale and Harris Michaels. He also joked that it is like working on a new show since his mind still hasn’t associated his new co-stars as Days of Our Lives characters. Now, moving on to the most lucrative past of Bryan Dattilo’s video. In the second half of it, he confirmed that an all-new Gabi Hernandez DiMera is on her way back to Salem.
Interestingly, there have been many speculations about Gabi being recast on Days of Our Lives. However, until now, there has been no confirmation if it was really happening or not. But now, with Bryan’s video, the speculations seem to be proven true. Although, the actor refrained from revealing who exactly is stepping into Camila Banus’ vacated shoes. But as TV Season & Spoilers previously reported, there is a possibility that it could be actress Cherie Jimenez. Based on the long list of DOOL cast and crew, she started following on Instagram.
However, we will still wait for a confirmation from the makers or the actress herself before we comment any further on this possible recast on Days of Our Lives. Although, if this news is true, we are certainly excited. Because there is still a lot of scope for Gabi’s character on the soap, as well as for Gabi and Stefan’s relationship.
