In the final episode, Takemichi ultimately saved Hinata Tachibana. The former learned that he had returned to the past to kill Kisaki. But he trembled upon the idea of his nemesis’s death, and when it just happened, Takemichi couldn’t deal with Kisaki’s death. He knew the latter was the weakest person, yet he climbed up the ladder by killing several people. Thus, Takemichi hated him even though Kisaki’s death deeply affected the former. This was why things turned quite unusual for him, as he wanted to save everyone.
Amid this, Takemichi finally saved Hinata, who was about to die. His fate was up in the air, and the former time traveled to stop this impending death. He finally succeeded in it. After saving everyone, Takemichi returned to the future. Upon his return, he learned about Mikey’s future. He learned that the latter was work ing overseas. But it was later revealed that Mikey was actually leading Japan’s largest crime syndicate, Bonten. So, Takemichi returned to the past to learn about Mikey’s story.
