Beyond that, Woo mentioned that the book is a trilogy, so they can roughly plan for three seasons. However, the third book is quite lengthy compared to the previous two books, so it doesn’t seem like the entire book will be adapted in one season. Hence, they are planning to continue the series beyond 3 Body Problem Season 2. Woo added that they are honestly excited about the ending of the book and how beautifully it ties everything together.

While the humans need to fight them, they must also fight against the Sophons already on Earth.
Who remains protected from such predators remains to be seen. But 3 Body Problem Season 2 might focus on the Wallfacer Project. That will help four individuals to fight against the odds.
