Fear The Walking Dead Season 7: Boss Announced Production Status! Cast, Plot And More

Ahead of the sixth season’s second part, The Walking Dead franchise chief content officer Scott Gimple confirmed that Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 is on the horizon. Well, it’s good news for fans as one of its spin-off series has come to its end journey. But, the boss believes that they would rather keep going. However, there’s no such information about when the seventh season would go into production. But, Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 Part 2 is ready to thrill your world.

In the last season’s so-called finale, John Glover joins as a mysterious character. Apart from him, a new character Ed (Raphael Sbarge), appeared whose creepy walker creations eventually killed his family. However, his end comes soon when Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Dakota (Zoe Colletti) fled from his horrifying creation. But, Ed’s death was the way to reunite Morgan Jones with Alicia. Further, Dakota revealed that her sister Virginia (Colby Minifie) had killed their parents, which was the reason behind their cold relationship.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 7: Has It Renewed For The Next Season?

The network has ordered Fear The Walking Dead Season 5 and 6 at San Diego Comic-Con event in the last 2018 and 2019. But, in the 2020 virtual Comic-Con at the home panel, the network didn’t announce any news regarding the renewal of Fear The Walking Dead Season 7. However, according to Scott Gimple, The Walking Dead chief content officer, Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 is on the horizon. But, AMC has yet to renew the season officially.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 7: Production Is Still Underway

Recently, Scott confirmed that spin-off Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 is currently at the scripting stage. However, it would take some time to go into production. Well, the outburst of COVID-19 has already forced to hold the production of Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 in the midway. Only seven episodes were released rest of them are still underway.

The Executive Producer Shared Their Plans

In a recent interview, The Walking Dead franchise executive producer said it’s sad that they couldn’t finish the sixth season. However, the eighth episode of the sixth season was the great episode ever. It’s such a thrilling episode of all time. Further, it helps them to start a new beginning in the remaining sixth season freshly. But, it’s unclear when it would air. Meantime they are working on the seventh season. He added that The Walking Dead Universe is working on connecting the series together.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 7: Who Will Join The Cast?

In 2018, the first time Fear The Walking Dead Season 4 cross-over with The Walking Dead. It was the first time in history when Fear The Walking Dead lead Morgan Jones (Lennie James) landed on its parent series’s spin-off. Now, he leads the team that includes Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia Clark, Ruben Blades as Daniel Salazar, Colman Domingo as Victor Strand, and Danay Garcia as Luciana Galvez.

And recently, Maggie Grace as Althea “AI” Szewczyk-Przygocki, Jenna Elfman as June Dorie, Garret Dillahunt as John Dorie, Alexa Nisenson as Charlie, Christine Evangelista as Sherry, and Austin Amelio as Dwight joined the team.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 7: When Will It Air?

Well, the series is currently in the scripting stage. So, we can expect that Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 would air sometime in 2022. However, AMC has already announced that Fear The Walking Dead Season 6 second part would air soon in 2021. So, fans would learn a lot about how things change in the eighth episode.

Is Season 7 The Last Season Of The Show?

Not yet! Earlier this month, the showrunner Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss said that they haven’t looked for the series’s end. They added that they have been discussing how the show would end. They have some unique ideas that would work well. But, right now, they wanted to keep telling the stories to their fans. In fact, AMC has also told them to keep going.
