The footage also involves funny bloopers like Mr. Groff peeking at something in the school premises after being demoted from his position. Moreover, the renowned students of Moordale are seen encouraging the kids to join the school. Finally, the trailer also teased a new character introduced in the form of Moordale’s Head Mistress. She’ll be taking over from Mr. Groff to get the school back on track.

Three New Character Introductions For Season 3

Netflix has confirmed that three new stars will be joining the star cast of the upcoming season.

  • Jemima Kirke will be playing “Hope,” the new Head Mistress of Moordale High, to bring back its lost legacy. In addition, Hope is also a Moordale alumnus.
  • Jason Isaacs will play “Peter Groff,” Mr. Groff’s highly successful and boastful elder brother. Moreover, Mr. Groff will be staying with Peter as he gets a divorce from Mrs. Groff.
  • Dua Saleh will be making her acting debut and play “Cal,” a rebellious student who instantly opposes Hope’s new visionary ideas about Moordale.

The known faces making a return are Asa Butterfield, Jillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, and Aimee Wood. Also, Season 3 will feature Patricia Allison, Mikael Persbrandt, and Alistair Petrie.

Earlier in June, Asa Butterfield shared an exciting tweet teasing the fans about what’s to come the Season 3.

Asa also revealed some information in an interview with The Guardian. He stated that Season 3 would not be picking off where the show was left in the last season. Season 2 witnessed Otis confronting his feelings for Maeve in a text message, which was later deleted by Issac without Maeve knowing about it. In addition, Asa says that Season 3 will take a time jump into the future, where Otis joins the school. As an intellectual adolescent, he’s discovering his newfound charisma while dealing with his strange awkwardness.

Butterfield also revealed exclusive news dropping the hammer about Otis having a mustache in the upcoming season. The rumor spread after the Otis was Snapped by a Paparazzi wearing a mustache. Asa clarified the issue saying, “It’s a stunt ‘tache, and thankfully it doesn’t last the whole season. I don’t think anyone could bear looking at that thing for long.”
