Actor Tom Brittney, who portrays Reverend William Davenport, has made his debut as the director for Grantchester Season 7. The series was renewed, and the filming kicked off the same day on July 28, 2021. The Seventh season is currently under production, while the Sixth episode of the current season was aired yesterday.
