Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 3 Preview: What Will Happen?
CBS has revealed a short promo video and the official synopsis for the third episode titled “Potential Energy and Hooch on a Park Bench.” Well, sipping cheap whisky on a park bench does raise some different levels of energy. It might be something that the fans will witness in the next episode. As per the synopsis, George Jr. will drop another big bomb on Mary and George. In the last episode, Mary struggled with convincing Missy to find solace in the Bible. Meanwhile, Sheldon has been hard like he has always been. However, this time, George Jr. will raise some serious concerns for the parents in Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 3.
In the promo, George seems to have come to a major decision. He has decided to quick school and work extra hours at his job. The news will come as a big surprise to Mary. She shares her concern with George, who sarcastically says, “What do you want me to do about it?” In the meantime, Sheldon will try to convince Dr. Sturgis to get back to his teaching job at the university. In the last season, Dr. Sturgis was fired from the Hadron Collider after leaving Texas to pursue his dream job. Moreover, he also had some severe mental breakdowns in the past. Thus, Sheldon feels odd about him working at the convenience store.

Connie was concerned about her daughter’s marriage. So, she went to the bar and asked some questions about George and Brenda with Nick. Towards the end, George found out about her strange visit and confronted Connie.
She then apologized to him for intruding and questioning his faithfulness. Finally, in the end, George met Brenda at the chicken cellar to say that one of them should stop hanging at the bar. Brenda replied that George should stop as she is a single woman and won’t find any men to date. At that moment, Brenda’s son Billy walks in on them, and George hid behind the door.
