Nancy and her crew will be searching for a mysterious soul splitter device in the next episode. The crew will travel to an underground prison that could solve the mysteries about the frozen heart killer.

The fifth episode was titled “The Vision Of The Birchwood Prisoner.” In the previous episode, Nancy tried to get hold of two killers and the mysteries related to the frozen-hearted killers as the second set of killings had started. She seemed to be obsessed with the vase after failing to catch the murderer. She tried a different approach, but the killer appeared to be a step ahead of her. With a new suspect in the picture, Temperance volunteered to assist her with the case.
Meanwhile, in Nancy Drew Season 3 Episode 5, Thom was unable to find Ace. So he approached Nick to ask for help. They ran down to Fred’s Towing station as Ace had told Thom that his car had broken down. Ace was stuck with Bobbsey’s assaulting Asher. Carson suggested Ace get himself to the station regarding his appearance at the scene. However, he denied it because of his mother’s heart condition and the fact that his father would have to arrest Ace at the station.
Furthermore, George went to see her father, Ethan, who had sent her a friend request after 18 long years. George confronted her father about leaving her behind. She also expressed that she had a moment to leave everything as a single mother, but she stayed. She was disappointed in her father and left the hospital with unresolved issues.
Ace escaped Carson’s grips and went to see Nancy try and help him solve the cipher found on the candy box at the crime scene. Nacy solved the cipher, and Ace reached the location where Asher and Bobbsey were meeting in Nancy Drew Season 3 Episode 5.
