SWAT Season 5 Episode 6 Preview: What Will Happen?
Hondo and the SWAT Team will deal with another deadly crisis in the sixth episode of SWAT Season 5. Armed intruders will take over a Cable news office. The news channel promotes conspiracy theories, and some people don’t want the truth to come out.
Thus, the SWAT Team will race against time before the intruders broadcast the hostage situation on live TV. Hondo and his men will have to pull off another mission while safeguarding the lives of the hostages. Meanwhile, Chris will assist Street during the preparation of his mother’s funeral in the next episode of SWAT Season 5.
A Quick Recap!
In the previous episode, the SWAT team responded to a home invasion emergency. When they reached the spot, the people inside the house started firing at the team. It tuned out that someone swatted a famous pro footballer Nicols, and he tried to protect himself after a threat call. The SWAT team asked Nicols about other threat calls and someone he suspected. During the investigation, the team also discovered that Nicols had an affair in the old days of his career. He was retired and didn’t want his wife to know about it.
Meanwhile, in SWAT Season 5 Episode 5, Nicols was called to the station. Hondo confronted him about the affair and suggested he set things right with his wife. Soon after, Nicols vanished outside the station. He received a call that his wife was kidnapped and was asked to come alone. When he went to the spot, he realized that his wife was involved in the plan. She had an affair with Sam Greer. Nicols had recently turned down a business deal, which caused Steer to lose 60 million. Moreover, Nicols’ wife found out about the affair and went along with Greer.
The SWAT team tracked Nicols and ambushed the scenes. Greer turned on Nicols’ wife and tried to get hold of Nicols. However, Hondo saved the day once again. But he went against Rodrigez’s orders for the second time. The Captain warned him about a disciplinary hearing if Hondo defied him one more time.
