Red and the Task Force took down a vigilante blacklister in the fourth episode of The Blacklist Season 9. Meanwhile, Cooper had a blackout and was doubtful about killing a man his wife had an affair with on the same night. Then Ressler was afraid of losing his position in the Task Force. Task Force Chased The Avenging Angel In The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 4
The fourth episode began with the brutal murder of Adam McHenry, the CEO of a company named Genocide. He was ambushed by a woman in his hotel room and forced to record a confession. After that, Adam was thrown out of the hotel window.
Next, Dembe approached Red and revealed that McHenry’s murder was carried by a blacklister named Michaela. She goes by the name of “The Avenging Angel.” Also, she is dedicated to committing murder, kidnapping, extortion, and other deadly crime to bring justice to the people who have unfairly taken things from others.
Red Draws A Plan To Catch The Avenging Angel
The Task Force found out that Michaela used an online prayer group to select her victims during the investigation. Moreover, Adam and Dembe discovered Michaela’s safe house, where she hid while looking for her next victim. However, Michaela got away before the Task Force broke into the safe house.
Michaela’s next victim was Derek Huntley, a wealthy businessman who needed a heart transplant. He bribed a hospital’s pediatric wing to get on top of the transplantation waiting list. The incident resulted in a steelworker named William Green not receiving a heart. So, she kidnapped Huntley, Green, and the hospital administrator Conrad. Further, she planned to replace Green’s heart with Huntley’s in The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 4.
Meanwhile, Red visited an old friend’s son, Alexie Nikovich, to get a Van Gough painting to lure Michaela. He successfully managed to trap Michaela and kill her using the painting. In the end, he gave Green Michaela’s heart to save his life. Red also returned the painting to Ada, a Holocaust survivor. She was 90 years old and worked as a singer in a death metal band.
Cooper Tries To Revive His Memories, While Ressler Seeks Help From Park
In the fourth episode of The Blacklist Season 9, Cooper woke up in a parking garage after a blackout. When he returned home, Cooper’s wife told him that the man she had an affair with was shot and killed. Unfortunately, Cooper also found that one of the bullets from his gun was missing. During the ballistic report of his weapon, it was discovered that the shot was fired from his weapon.
Meanwhile, Ressler faced the threat of getting fired from the Task Force. In addition, he knew that he would not pass the annual drug test. So, he confided in Park and requested her to give him a clean urine sample for the drug test. Park refused at first but eventually gave Ressler the sample. The report revealed that Park could possibly have cancer in The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 4.
