Hulu is bringing the reboot version of How I Met Your Mother that the fans have been craving for since 2013. After several attempts to revive the series with a spin-off, creators Issac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are finally ready to surprise the fandom with How I Met Your Father.

What Is The Show About?
The show will be based in the future when Sophie tells her son the story of how she met their father. The story travels back to 2022 when Sophie and her gang of friends are figuring their lives and exploring their individualities. The show moves towards the modernities of life in the age of sating apps and unlimited choices.
Moreover, the series will feature Sophie’s queer friend, Ellen. She has just moved to New York from a small farming town. Ellen is also going through a recent separation from her wife. So, she will need some understanding friends who help her get through the tough times and adapt to an entirely new environment. Ellen seems more comfortable on an organic lettuce field than inside a Brooklyn dive bar.
How I Met Your Father: Who Will Feature?
Hilary Duff joined the star cast of how I Met Your father in April 2021. She will also serve as a producer for the series. Moreover, in June 2021, Chris Lowell joined the cast to portray the male lead. In addition, Kim Cattrall will portray the future version of Sophie.
Further, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Suraj Sharma will star as Sophie’s friends. Also, the recurring cast list includes Brandon Micheal Hall, Josh Peck, and Ashley Reyes.

As per the description, Sophie is an aspiring photographer who lives in New York City with Valentina, her best friend. She aims to never give up on her quest to find love.
Then, Valentina is Sophie’s best companion, who is an aspiring celebrity stylist. Also, Valentina is not too good at monogamy. Ellen is Jesse’s sister, who has recently had a breakup. She is looking for a new partner in NYC. And Jesse is a musician/ Uber driver who lives with Sid, his best friend. He has a failed marriage, and his proposal went viral on social media. Meanwhile, Sid has recently bought a bar. He is in a long-distance relationship with his fiancee. Finally, Charlie is a British Aristocrat and a former socialite. He has recently become poor and moved to NYC.
How I Met Your Father: Premiere Date
Hulu ordered the spin-off series in April 2021. And the principal photography kicked off in August 2021. The filming for the first installment is premised to have concluded. Thus, Hulu will premiere How I Met Your father on January 18, 2022. The network will drop two new episodes at the reboot’s release. Moreover, the current season will feature a total of ten episodes.
