When Is The Umbrella Academy Coming?
The second season of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy premiered in July 2020. And as far as The Umbrella Academy Season 3 is concerned, Netflix already confirmed the renewal of the series on February 7, 2021. Not just that, the production of the third season has also wrapped up and it is currently in the post-production stage. The Bootstrap paradox is an infinite time loop in which the origin of an object is lost in time, much like there is no definite answer about who created the time machine in the above example. In the second season of The Umbrella Academy, we saw Hargreeves siblings, going back in time to the 70s. They met their adoptive father, Reginald Hargreeves, and told him about future events in the past. We know that in the future, Reginald adopts the special kids born on the same day to create The Umbrella Academy.
The theory states that Reginald did what he did because he had already met Hargreeve’s siblings back in the 70s. The theory creates a classic case of the Bootstrap Paradox, in which the origin of the Umbrella Academy is lost in a loop of time.

Harlan Is A Member Of Sparrow Academy?
At the end of The Umbrella Academy Season 2, we saw Harlan having special powers as he was floating a wooden toy that looked strangely like a sparrow in the air towards the end of Season 2. After seeing that image, several Reddit users have speculated that Harlan will join the Sparrow Academy. Harlan would be over 60 years old by the time the Umbrella Academy came in 2019. Thus he’s unlikely to be one of the silhouettes we see. Maybe he co-founded the Sparrow Academy with Reginald Hargreeves or joined the first class.
Harlan’s Powers Are Linked To Vanya?
In the second season, when Harlan heard that Vanya is about to leave, he ran away from his house. Vanya discovered him in a lake and used her abilities to save him from drowning, unwittingly passing on their part to him. The series demonstrated orbs similar to those seen in Reginald’s jar in the first season.
Harlan’s newly acquired abilities began to spiral out of control, making him a potential apocalypse trigger. Fortunately, the Hargreeves arrived at his destination. Vanya was able to calm him down and take away his powers, though not all of them. This is because we see Harlan using telekinetic abilities to move a wooden bird in the air without touching it.
Harlan exhibited the same abilities as Vanya, also becoming white like her. Even though Vanya took part of them away, what’s left in him can still evolve and reach the same, if not greater, levels than Vanya’s powers. When Vanya loses control of her skills, she may be extremely dangerous. And, because it’s unclear whether Harlan will ever receive the necessary training to control his, he could be even more dangerous than Vanya in The Umbrella Academy Season 3.
Is Lila In The Sparrow Academy?
At the end of the second season, After her fight with the members of The Umbrella Academy, Lila finds out the truth about the Handler. Then, Lila takes up a time-traveling briefcase and disappears somewhere in time. We don’t know where did she go. There is a chance that she may travel to the time when Handler killed her parents and try to save them. But since the original timeline has been altered to a massive extent, there is also a chance that she may be a member of Reginald’s new team called Sparrow Academy in this new timeline.
