The End Of The F***ing World Season 3: Based on Charles Forsman’s 2013 graphic novel of the same name, The End Of The F***ing World is a British black comedy-drama series. The series chronicles the misadventures of two friends, Alyssa and James, who run away from their homes together.
The first seasons of the show that were released on Netflix attracted millions of viewers. However, after the premiere of the second season in 2019, fans are eager to find out if there will be The End Of The F***ing World Season 3. So, here’s what we know about it.
Will There Be The End Of The F***ing World Season 3?
Netflix dropped the second season of the series on November 5, 2019. Even though the season ended on a somewhat conclusive note, fans have not had enough of seeing Alyssa and James together on their journey. As far as The End Of The F***king World Season 3 is concerned, we have some bad news for the fans as the makers have canceled the series after the second season.
Talking about the show, creator Charlie Covell said, “I think, for me, that’s it now. Yeah, that’s done. I think to try and eke more out would be wrong, I like where we’ve left it.” “Put it this way, if for some reason we hadn’t been allowed to do season two, I would have been really gutted. Which I think shows that it was the right thing to do – for me, anyway. And I think I like where we end it [in season two], and yeah, it feels right for the story.”
Covel also added, “But you never know, and you obviously you can’t write for what people want,” she added. “I think you have to work out what’s right for the characters and the story – I sound like such a dick saying that but I think you can’t, you’re not doing fan fiction.”
What Could’ve Happened In The End Of The F***ing World Season 3?
In some ways, the season 2 finale of The End of the F***ing World feels like a proper conclusion. While staring towards the sky, James and Alyssa declare their love for one another and clasp hands. So, what could’ve happened next? For The End Of The F***ing World Season 3, James and Alyssa strive to live a regular life but are drawn back into an intensely exhilarating existence.
Of course, they don’t want to hurt anyone, but their characteristics may take them into some tricky situations, causing both characters to wonder if they’re the ideal match. Because James has difficulty performing sexually as a result of his gunshot wounds, the couple may be less concerned about having children and more concerned with simply being together.
