The tenth episode of NCIS Los Angeles Season 13 is titled “Where Loyalities Lie.” The NCIS team will be called when a civilian scientist working with the marines gets murdered. Moreover, the scientist’s advanced radar technology will be stolen after the murder. Hence, the team will be racing against time to find the tech and the culprit before the radar tech gets in the wrong hands.

In the previous episode, a social media influencer named Gia had a live conversation with her followers while driving a scooter. She accidentally hit a cart and fell conscious. It turned out that the fall was planned by someone who mysteriously kidnapped her. Fatime briefed Sam and Callen about the missing case.
Gia happened to be the daughter of Lebanon’s US Ambassador. Sam and Callen took a trip to the scene where Gia disappeared. Blye and Deeks questioned Gia’s driver to get any lead to who might have kidnapped her.
Elsewhere, in NCIS Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 9, Gia went live on her social media account again. She urged her followers to raise $10 million in Bitcoins, or the kidnapper would kill her. However, things got tricky when her haters began raising money for the captor to kill her on a live stream. Time was running out as Fatima and Aliyah looked into Gia’s social media to find her hatters and trolls. They suspected a man named Jaxson King, who might have been involved in her abduction.
Further, Callen and Sam got hols of Jaxson’s laptop from his place, and Aliyah looked at it at the base to find any leads. They also tracked Jaxson and questioned him about being in touch with Gia’s kidnapper on secret chat groups. Sam managed to Jaxson to reveal the truth by threatening to put him in jail. The team managed to find the kidnapper named Curtis through a letter he sent to his mother telling her that he had Gia. Sam and Called rescued Gia while Curtis tried to kill himself. However, Sam managed to convince him to surrender in NCIS Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 9.
