In the previous episode, Sang-rang was upset after seeing Gu Won’s growing closeness with Yu-ri. She believed the latter was Won’s girlfriend. So she and her friends got drunk to ease their minds. But Sang-rang remained shocked after seeing Gu Won at her doorstep. She was surprised and thought she was dreaming but later learned that it wasn’t a dream and Won was actually standing at her doorstep. So she let him in before asking about his relationship status. To her surprise, Yu-ri wasn’t Won’s girlfriend, and he confronted her about his sincere feelings for Sang-rang, which eased her jealousy. After spending the night together, the couple then came closer.
But things became problematic as Hwa-ran planned to create issues in Won’s life. She wanted to kick him out of King The Land hotel and property. Thus she started plotting against him, and she used Sang-rang as her pawn. Soon, Won realized that he needed to rise in power to protect his people. He was just a manager in the hotel, while Hwa-ran was holding great shares of it. So he pitched a lucrative offer to bring the Arabian prince to their hotel and fulfilled his promise too. It quickly changed his status, while Sang-rang and Won came closer than before.
