A Quick Recap!
The previous episode began with Yo’s attempt to petrify Moz while he fought against Hyoga. However, he had no clue how Medusa was activated. Amid this battle, Hyoga followed Senku to escape the island and revealed he had a plan. However, Moz chased him. It was later revealed that Hyoga struggled in a duel as he wasn’t used to Kinro’s spear. After learning this, Senku recreated a Kuda yari spear to help Hyoga fight against Moz. Now armed with his favorite weapon, Hyoga used his best technique to fight against Moz, surprising the latter. Meanwhile, Ibara activated Medusa to petrify Yo.
However, the former retrieved and gave another voice command to destroy the island. Just when Ibara commanded Medusa, Oarashi swallowed it and carried it to the island’s center. Senku and the rest of the team rushed to capture Oarashi but failed to remove Medusa from his body. The incident created panic among them as they worried about Medusa’s activation. Meanwhile, Ibara saw the statues posing in the same unusual stance. He later discovers that Soyuz is the master’s missing heir. So, he headed to fight back Senku, but the latter was already prepared for the final showdown as he had designed several scientific weapons to fight against the evils.
