The previous episode saw Cid’s hideout place. He is living at an inn owned by a former prostitute from Lawless City, Marie. Meanwhile, 664, 665, and 666 met 559 to spy on Perv Asshat. 666’s mother, Queen Reina, used her royal blood to take them to a chamber. There, she opened up about the Ring of Succession, which was once stolen by cult officer Kouadoi. However, 559 tried to kill Reina and stated that 666 was a traitor. But the former failed to do so as the latter returned to resume her life as Rose with Reina. As for Cid, he mistook that Rose was plotting to surpass Queen and claim her position after killing her father. So, he waited for her to become a tyrant and then heroically ended her chapter.
Meanwhile, Perv’s soldiers blackmail Marie for fake takes. However, Cid killed them as Shadow and gave their gold to Marie. The latter was glad that she didn’t have to return to prostitution and thanked Shadow for everything. After fighting three days and nights with Kouadoi and his soldiers, Cid managed to rescue 665, 664, and 559. He also killed Kouadoi. 559 then reported that Rose had betrayed and lost the ring. However, our hero wasn’t listening to his spy and read the news about Rose getting engaged with Perv. While it changed everything, Cid lost his temper and flew to Oriana to confront Rose.
