The last episode of Chicago PD Season 8 was “White Knuckle.” It is directed by Nicole Rubio whereas written by Gwen Sigan. The episode brought up the racial factor in the real police procedural drama. Alderman’s son is suspected of murder. Miller wants Voight to charge Voight without getting the smell of racial favoring.
On the other side, we see Atwater facing racial discrimination with the police department. There have been clashing of ideas between Atwater and Voight. The harassment with Atwater continues. And the level seems to be increasing with each passing day. Officers do not even respond to Atwater’s unit request for backup. But, the character does not lose hope and continues to stand on his own. Instead of backing out, he chose the option of threatening the police officer and Nolan of suing is the same scenario continues. Will this change the behavior of the officers?
