Dr. Shaun And Dr. Park will be facing the odds in the sixth episode titled “One Heart.” Dr. Shaun will be handling a patient in a critical situation, staying alive through machines. Meanwhile, Dr. Park will be treating a young girl who needs heart transplantation desperately. Unfortunately, her condition is quickly deteriorating, and Dr. Park is under immense pressure to save this young girl’s life.
Thus, he will request Shaun to inform him if his patient dies. But, Shaun thinks he can save the patient and threatens to report Park in The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 6. In addition, Dr. Morgan will go too far in an attempt to get a favor from Salen in the next episode.

The fifth episode of The Good Doctor Season 5 was titled “Crazytown.” Dr. Shaun, Jordan, and Park treated Mr. Song, who was brought in after some people attacked him because of his race. The doctors diagnosed that Song had a brain tumor and suggested surgery to remove it. However, Song refused as the surgery would lead to permanent weakness. The doctors tried to convince Song with his daughter’s help. However, they fail to convince him.
So, Shaun requested Song’s daughter to approve the surgery as his medical proxy. Further, the doctors removed the tumor, leaving Song an impaired left side. Eventually, he accepted his fate and respected his daughter’s decision to save Song’s life.
Meanwhile, in The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 5, Lim and Asher treated Mateo’s ex-girlfriend Laura while Mateo was out on a medical project. However, Lim’s emotions were coming in between Rosa’s treatment. So, Asher suggested shifting her to another hospital. He also told Lim not to risk her career for Mateo. Thus, Lim performed the surgery at another hospital. After gaining consciousness, Rosa told Lim how Mateo left after a fight and didn’t return her c alls. Mateo did the same with Lim, so she broke up with him by leaving him a voicemail.
Furthermore, Morgan advised Park to work on his reputation in the medical industry. Park said he was happy where he was currently. But, he was worried about their future together with Morgan’s big emotions. Further, Shaun went to buy a Tux and tried to contact Glassman, who was on vacation. But he did not respond to Shaun’s calls. Lea manipulated Shaun’s approval rating after his failed attempt to improve them. Also, Andrews agreed to go on a dinner with Saen in The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 5.
