When the world was living behind closed doors in the wake of a global pandemic, Netflix aired the first season of its atypical Docuseries titled Tiger King. The Documentary series follows a gunslinging Zoo owner from Wynnewood, Oklahoma. It explores Joe’s passion for running a Zoo, his business relationships and rivalries, and his conflict with animal rights activist Carole Baskin. The show also gives us an insight into the world of Zoo and big cats breeding. 

As the series has now returned for the Tiger King Season 2, its ending has left many questions unanswered. Fans are now wondering will there be a Tiger King season 3. 

What We Know About Tiger King Season 3?

The second season of Tiger King premiered on Netflix on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The first season gathered over 5.3 billion minutes of watch time in just the first week, thus resulting in the second installment of the documentary series. Therefore, it looks like fans will have to have for the numbers to come out, which will decide the future of Tiger King.

The series creators Rebecca Chaiklin and Eric Goode took one and half years for the completion of the second season. Thus, it is safe to say that if the third season of Tiger King happens, it won’t be before 2023. 

Although, there is no announcement of Tiger King Season 3 as of now. But Netflix may very well give the green light for a third season if the show is received well by the audience. Also, the ending of the second season with so many loose ends to tie has definitely left the possibility of a third season open. But we have to wait for Netflix to announce something about the season. 

How Did Tiger King Affect Carole Baskin’s Life?

Since its launch in March 2020, Netflix’s docuseries have been revolving around Joe Exotic and got a lot of buzz. And, Carole Baskins, who is an environmentalist and an animal rights activist runs Big Cat Rescue in Florida. Her battle with Joseph Maldonado-Passage (Joe Exotic) is depicted in the Netflix series.

Carole Baskin, who previously appeared as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, expressed her feelings about Netflix’s Tiger King. She also focused on how the series has harmed her reputation and made a target for public outrage. Carole said the show has misrepresented the facts about the events that occurred. She feels her part on the show has been villainized.

Netflix’s Tiger King is a documentary about the life and operations of an Oklahoma-based Zoo owner named Joe Exotic. The show featured the bitter rivalry between Carole and Joe. Meanwhile, Joe, the owner of the exotic animal park, and possessed disgust and hatred towards Carol. Joe Exotic is even convicted of arranging Carole Baskin’s murder and is now serving his sentence for hiring a hitman to murder her. In the series, Joe claimed that Carole murdered her husband Don Lewis and threw his body for the animals to eat. However, nothing has been proved.
