Syfy’s famous science fiction series is making a return with the premiere of Resident Alien Season 2 Episode 1. Harry will be returning back to Earth at the beginning of the second season. However, he has lost the memories of what had happened last time. So, he will reunite with Asta, who will keep him safe and help him recover his memories. Resident Alien Season 2 Episode 1 Precap: What Will Happen?
The premiere episode has been titled “Old Friend.” Alien Harry will take another trip from his home planet back to Earth in Resident Alien Season 2 Episode 1. However, it seems like he would not be able to recall the havoc that happened when he came on Earth last time around. Moreover, he will reconnect with Asta in New York, who will keep him safe and help him recover his lost memories.
During their time together, Asta and Harry will discover that Harry is starting to feel a bit of empathy for humans as he spends more time on the Earth. Further, they will also look to track down other fellow aliens who have been hiding on the planet.
A Quick Recap!
In the last season’s finale, a flashback revealed that the real Harry poisoned Sam’s insulin hours before he was killed by alien Harry. Moreover, D’Arcy told Mike and Liv about real Harry’s dead body. However, alien Harry had already hidden the corpse in the cabin’s loft. Moreover, Liv found real Harry’s shoes at the lakeshore, raising suspicions about alien Harry. Elsewhere, Harry’s device was operational again as he sat having a conversation with the corpse. He tested the device on the corpse while burning his hand.
Meanwhile, live went to the clinic and compared the severed foot with the recovered show. Moreover, Asta realized that alien Harry had killed the real one. She confronted Harry and ended their friendship. Eventually, Harry found a ship and planned to drop the device from space, which would destroy the Earth.
However, he changed his plan after realizing that Asta and Max had been captured by the government and fought to save them. Further, Asta managed to convince Harry to spare humanity. So, he disposed of the device in space and took a trip to his home planet, discovering that Max had been stowed away in Resident Alien Season 1.
Resident Alien Season 2 Episode 1: Premiere Date
The first episode of Resident Alien Season 2 will air on January 26, 2022. Syfy will air a new episode weekly on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. ET. And each episode of the current season will have about 45 minutes of average runtime.
