The thirteenth episode of Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 is titled “As Hubris is to Oedipus.” The task force will be dealing with the consequences of Wheatley and McClane’s digital takeover. Elliot was caught but with Wheatley previously and beat him bloody. However, it seems like Wheatley has one more trick up his sleeve. In the previous episode, Wheatley and McClane were behind the hacking of a Federal financial system. It turned out that Wheatly hacked the system to disturb the markets and test it before executing something far more menacing. The Organized Crime team kept an eye on Wheatley’s home. They discovered his obsessions with reclaiming his fortune and getting Angela back into his life.
Meanwhile, in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 12, Governor Garcia confided in Ayana about Stabler’s degrading mental state. Stabler invited Angela for dinner and put on an affection show, knowing Whiteley was watching. Wheatley lost his cool and attacked Angela. Hence, McClane had no choice but to stop it all.
Later, McClane revealed to the team that he had been leaving digital footprints on purpose. Elliot found the password to Wheatley’s files. The six numbers made up the date of the death of Elliot’s wife. Elliot got furious and attacked Wheatley in the elevator. Wheatley laughed peculiarly covered in blood and commented that he would always live in Stabler’s head in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 12.
