While talking about The Outlaws Season 2, showrunner Stephen Merchant stated, “It is the same bunch, We started filming last February, and we got shut down ten days after we started because of COVID. And then I said to the BBC, ‘Well, I’m just going to be twiddling my thumbs now. So can I write a second series? And then we’ll film both backs to back?’ So, even though a confirmed release date hasn’t been out for the second season, it is expected to release in late 2022.
