Chanel Ayan, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Paige DeSorbo, and many others arrived at the event.
Therefore, Project Runaway Season 20 is happening for sure. Even though it lacks an official announcement, such a big hint is enough for the fans. The above statement appeared on October 16, 2022. What To Expect In The Next Season?
Season 19 took place at Lincoln Center. Nian Garcia, Christian Siriano, Brandon Maxwell, and Elaine Welteroth delightfully started the show. All of them introduced the contestants to the viewers. They provided a brief detail about the show’s format as well. All 16 contestants were ready to show their skills to the world. When the show began, the contestants were divided into two teams. Project Runaway’s teams were called Warm Colors and Cool Colors. The former team had Aaron, Kenneth, Shantall, Octavio, Prajjé, Bones, Coral, and Darren. While Anna, Chasity, Katie, Meg, Sabrina, Kristina, Caycee, and Zayden belonged to the other team.
As the show moved forward, both teams created designs to compete with each other. Also, every week’s elimination made the designers go back to their homes. Nevertheless, the first challenge for them was to create creative streetwear. Secondly, the contestants were to make Halloween special costumes.

Moreover, the final four designers were Chasity Sereal, Kristina Kharlashkina, Coral Castillo, and Shantall Lacayo. Season 19 saw Shantall as its winner in the historic finale. It was for the debut time when all the finalists were women.
Coming to the panel of judges, there were less significant changes. Nina Garcia and Brandon Maxwell returned to their seats as mentors. The former has established herself as the editor-in-chief of Elle. On the other hand, Maxwell had served as the editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue. In addition to them, Christian Siriano was back to her role as the judge. The winner turned mentor acquired the first position in season 4 of Project Runaway.
