Gabrielle Union To Join Truth Be Told Season 3!

The stellar performance from the cast of the Apple TV+ drama series Truth Be Told has been one of the highlights of the series. And now there is a new addition to the list. According to Deadline, actress Gabrielle Union is all set to join the cast of the show for Truth Be Told Season 3. According to some sources, Gabriella will appear as an outspoken school principal. Eva, who finds herself encircled, is a mystery. As we know that the crime anthology series rotates its lead stars season-wise, Gabrielle’s addition and Octavia Spenser will be exciting to see in the third season.

Meanwhile, other prominent cast members in the series include Octavia Spencer as Poppy Scoville-Parnell. Then there is Mekhi Phifer as Markus. Michael Beach plays Ingram. Tracie Thoms as Desiree. Ron Cephas Jones in the role of Shreve Scoville and Haneefah Wood can be seen as Cydia.

When Will The Third Season Release? 

The second season of the crime drama series premiered on Apple TV + on August 20, 2021. And as far as Truth Be Told Season 3 is concerned, we know that Apple TV+ has already greenlit the third season in December 2021.

For the third season, Maisha Closson has joined the series as showrunner. Talking about her inclusion in the quad Nichelle Tramble Spellman said, “I am excited that the Poppy Scoville journey will continue to unfold on Apple TV+. And, I’m just thrilled to welcome Maisha Closson as our new showrunner and executive producer.” She added that she can’t wait to show all that they have in store for the fans. 

What Will Happen In Truth Be Told Season 3?

At the end of the second season, viewers learned that a cop named Martin killed Joshua. The reason behind the murder was the resentment he possessed for Micah’s husband for making a documentary film. At the same time, it was also revealed that Ivy, Micah’s professional partner, also played a role in the murder. This happened so that Micah’s lies could not affect their company’s reputation. In the end, Ivy is detained by police while Martin was killed. Eventually, Micah and her childhood friend Poppy harmonized when she learned that Micah did not kill her husband. 

Now, when the series returns with Truth Be Told Season 3, we are likely to see Poppy getting involved with another killing in town and try to probe into it via her podcast. If this happens, she will certainly need some help from Detective Aames and her buddy Markus. Meanwhile, the season may also focus on the shaky relationship between Poppy and Ingram. In the upcoming third season, Shreve, Poppy’s father, who has been suffering memory loss, will struggle more.
