It has been only a few days since the first season of the Australian Sports drama series MaveriX concluded on Netflix. But the fans are already curious about MaveriX Season 2. MaveriX follows the titular team as they prepare to compete in the National Motocross Championships. The squad of unruly dandies, led by a legendary former racer named Griffo and his son Scott, must learn to get along and work together in order to achieve, and in the process, they must become firm friends.

MaveriX Season 2 Renewal Status!

The first season of the show debuted on Netflix on May 12, 2022. Meanwhile, talking about the prospect of the second season, the picture is not clear yet. Neither Netflix nor the creators of the series have made any confirmations yet about the show’s future. But we know that the Australian series has been doing quite well ever since its global release on Netflix.

On the other hand, there is also room for the story to continue after the first season’s conclusion. Therefore, there is a strong possibility for the show’s return. But we have to wait for an official announcement about MaveriX Season 2, as this is all just speculation at this point.

What To Expect From MaveriX Season 2?

In the first season finale, Kaden came back to the squad at the last minute. Scott won the race and the MX Junior Nationals in the end, with Jenny arriving in second. When the series returns with MaveriX Season 2, it will continue the story after the first season’s events. Because of the team’s success, new members will most likely join. Jenny and Scott’s friendship has the potential to blossom into something more. Richie may or may not come to MaveriX, but he will almost certainly remain one of the others’ close friends.

The show also stars Charlotte Maggi as Angelique, Tjiirdm McGuire enacting Richie, Sebastian Tang portraying Kaden, and Rohan Nichol playing Griffo. Furthermore, in the cast, the show also has Jane Harber as Tanya, Kelton Pell playing Vic Simmons, Pedrera Jackson portraying Lawson, and Thomas Campbell as Craig Wallis. 

In addition, Natasha Wanganeen stars as Trish Peterson. Luke Carroll plays Murray Peterson. Trisha Morton-Thomas as Barb Brewin, and Scott Fraser enacts Jason Cox. If the series returns with MaveriX Season 2, we can expect most of the main cast members to return in their roles. At the same time, there might also be some new additions to the cast in the next season.

Sam didn’t think it would turn worst if he tied the knot with Ana without Arkady’s blessing, whereas the two-armed men planted bombs in the naval base. It killed one, and the rest were in the hospital with the serious burn.

In the previous episode, titled “Sonny Boy,” Strand continued to search for traitors in the group. Soon he found a radio amongst Howard’s belongings and learned that baby Mo was missing. That led Strand to believe that perhaps Howard was a traitor. But in reality, Howard was loyal to Strand. He revealed to John that his family left before the zombie apocalypse, and he believed that someday his family would find the Tower.

John revealed that June kidnapped Mo, so he tried to reach her out through his tunnels of Morgan. But several walkers rushed towards them and trapped them both, where John revealed that he had terminal radiation sickness in Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 12.

Now he saw the Tower and Mo’s future as his legacy. Shortly, Strand rescued June and John. There John confessed that he planted the radio on Howard’s belongings so he could become Strand’s new partner. Strand forced John to throw Howard off the Tower’s roof before revealing that his family died months ago, and Strand hid this from him.

After realizing Strand’s motive, John decided to borrow armor from Howard’s collection to take Mo to Morgan. But in the process, John was bitten by the walkers, and he decided to sacrifice himself in order to buy some time for Morgan to escape in Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 12. Meanwhile, Strand threatened Morgan to kill Grace and June if he ever entered the Tower.

The first season of the comedy drama series premiered on Fox on January 9, 2022, and the season ended with the finale dropping on March 10, 2022. Since then, fans have been waiting for Fox to renew the series for Pivoting Season 2. However, the network dropped a bomb on May 13, 2022, and announced the show had been canceled before its second season. The unexpected decision follows months of discussions between the network and Warner Bros. Television. 

According to some accounts, Fox was a big fan of Pivoting and granted it a conditional renewal if it moved from Los Angeles to Vancouver. The stars, however, were unable to relocate their families. Thus it was a no-go. According to reports, the network made a second attempt to extend the series by requesting a significant decrease in the licensing cost. It was also a failure since the studio was unable to complete it.

What Can Pivoting Season 2 Be About?

At the end of the first season of Pivoting, viewers saw Amy, Sarah, and Jodie meet each other and decide to take a break from their quests for a changed life as the days called for a celebration because of Coleen’s birthday. So, they decided to bring her ashes in a box. The girls got wasted, and as is customary, they lost track of someone in the box, Coleen.
